Job Summary

We are seeking an Intermediate Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing project support work for design basis, budgets, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support project teams in the development of project design basis, budgets, and schedules.
  2. Participate in facility planning and design, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Perform detailed calculations, specify equipment, review, and check detailed engineering drawings.
  4. Collaborate with drafting staff to prepare PFDs and PIDs.
  5. Prepare and review bids, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  6. Evaluate equipment vendor design data, calculations, and drawings, and communicate with suppliers and clients.
  7. Prepare regulatory submissions for facility projects to relevant authorities.
  8. Develop and maintain project documentation, including Line Lists, Equipment Lists, Instrumentation Lists, Tie-in Lists, and Vendor Lists.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  2. 4 to 8 years of experience in an EPCM setting.
  3. Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA.
  4. Ability to adapt to change and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Personable and able to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  7. Desire to learn and develop professionally.
