The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in structural engineering, project management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. This role will involve designing, analyzing, and executing various projects, ensuring they meet all specifications and regulatory requirements.
This position is a Monday-to-Friday, 40-hour workweek, based out of our Calgary office with occasional site visits. We appreciate all applicants' interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Wages are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement structural engineering solutions for various projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet specifications and regulatory requirements
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project progress and quality
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Structural or Civil engineering background
- P.Eng designation
- Previous experience in the oil and gas sector
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a team
- Willingness to travel to the site frequently
- Eligibility to work in Canada (e.g., permanent resident, valid work permit)
