Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies, ensuring that we are operating within our budget.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive excellent service.
- Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Noisy, odours, hot, and outdoors.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
