About the Role:

The Site Administrator is a key member of the Turnaround (TA) Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing administrative tasks and ensuring efficient operations on site.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with the team. The successful candidate will have experience in the construction and maintenance industry and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations for the TA Leadership Team
  • Manage fleet, computers, and office supplies for the TA team
  • Resolve onsite issues arising from onboarding, training, and orientation processes
  • Schedule onsite supervision meetings and take minutes as required
  • Ensure compliance with timesheet and payroll workflows and processes
  • Communicate with field supervision to resolve issues quickly

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or relevant experience and/or training
  • Onsite experience in the construction and maintenance industry is an asset
  • Positive attitude, resourcefulness, motivation, and willingness to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal
  • Proficient with typing and reporting minutes of meetings

Working Conditions:

This position will be based on the Shell Scotford Project Site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Depending on the project, this position may require staying at camp and traveling to multiple sites on a short-term basis.

The incumbent must be prepared to work in an office environment with moderate noise and small spaces. They must also be able to walk outdoors in inclement weather and carry moderate loads occasionally.
