Job Summary:

The Operations Director will lead the execution of multiple projects across various functional areas, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to interface with senior management, customers, and site personnel.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple large projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining high safety performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate policies and develop short-term and long-term goals.
  • Review progress toward company objectives through analysis of activities, costs, and forecasts.
  • Consult with senior management and other personnel to discuss required changes in goals or objectives.
  • Monitor field compliance with company procedures and financial targets.
  • Promote effectiveness and consistency of results by developing and implementing work processes.
  • Present information to train operations, administrative management team, and personnel on company procedures.
  • Direct and coordinate site personnel to ensure project progress on schedule and within budget.
  • Resolve contract issues with customers with support from senior management.
  • Conduct process compliance assessments and implement best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have a college degree or at least 10 years of direct industry experience.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Craft knowledge in scaffolding, insulation, fireproofing, and painting is preferred, or equivalent plant operations/maintenance experience.
  • A history of providing leadership and vision in major projects or initiatives.
  • Ability to interface effectively with various levels of management, customers, and parts of operations.
  • Positive attitude towards safety and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Frequent travel to job sites is required.
