Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct client care and develop, implement, and evaluate client treatment plans.
  • Administer and monitor medications and related health care procedures.
  • Collaborate with families and community supports to meet client needs.
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships within the inter-professional team and community.
  • Identify and access community resources.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an approved program in Psychiatric Nursing or Nursing.
  • Experience in psychiatry is essential, with child and adolescent mental health experience preferred.
  • Active registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) or the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)/Registered Psychiatric Nurses Act.
