Project Manager, Collective Impact Initiative

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the implementation of the Collective Impact Initiative for Refugee Claimants (CIIRC). This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of newcomers in Ottawa.
About the RoleThe Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the activities of this new stakeholder collective, beginning with implementing the governance model and related processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Project management, stakeholder relations, monitoring and evaluation, and recruitment and supervision of a small team
- Embedding equity and inclusion principles in all activities
- Developing a project implementation plan based on the strategy of change and governance model
- Collaborating with external consultants to develop and implement a monitoring and evaluation plan
- Representing CIIRC and/or Refugee 613 on relevant committees and task forces

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of two years experience managing projects in a non-profit environment, including responsibility for finances and governance
- Knowledge of human services, with experience in immigrant services an asset
- Experience managing a multi-stakeholder project, with familiarity with the formal Collective Impact approach considered an asset
- Strong working knowledge of best practices in project budgeting and administration
- Lived experience as a refugee claimant or newcomer to Canada is considered a strong asset
