Project Manager, Collective Impact Initiative for Refugee Claimants

Refugee 613 is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the implementation of the Collective Impact Initiative for Refugee Claimants (CIIRC). This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity to work with a diverse group of stakeholders and contribute to improving the lives of newcomers in Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a project plan to achieve the goals of CIIRC.
  • Collaborate with external consultants to develop and implement a monitoring and evaluation plan.
  • Oversee the implementation of contracts and related services.
  • Represent CIIRC and/or Refugee 613 on relevant committees and task forces.
  • Work closely with the Director to maintain, adapt, and implement priorities related to the collective work.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years experience managing projects in a non-profit environment.
  • Knowledge of human services, with experience in immigrant services an asset.
  • Experience managing a multi-stakeholder project, with familiarity with the formal Collective Impact approach considered an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of best practices in project budgeting and administration.
  • Lived experience as a refugee claimant or newcomer to Canada is considered a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure equity and inclusion are priorities in project activities and deliverables.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to find common ground, build consensus and strengthen collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory. French or a second language an asset.
