About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of advisors to ensure the adoption and effective use of contact and sales planning tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Scotiabank's standards, policies, and procedures, and identify and implement applicable action plans to address deficiencies.
  • Manage escalated client complaints in a timely and customer-focused manner.
  • Direct day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with Scotiabank's risk culture and relevant risk appetite statement and limits.
  • Create an environment where team members pursue effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles.
  • Build a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates team members.
  • Understand how Scotiabank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Requirements:

  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  • Conduct and Practices Handbook for Securities Industry Professionals (CPH)
  • Life Licensed Qualification Program (LLQP) Insurance of persons and Group insurance of persons
  • MS Office applications
  • Agile work environment
