Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution
    • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure accurate execution
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Quality Control
    • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks
    • Use manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure high-quality work
  • Support for Diversity and Inclusion
    • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
    • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and diversity training
    • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment
    • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities
  • Work Terms
    • Permanent full-time position
