Job Summary

Speed Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the repair and fabrication of metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution
    • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate execution.
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Equipment Operation
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to precision-cut metal parts.
    • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
    • Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal.
  • Experience and Education
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced fabrication environment with a focus on quality and productivity.
    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
