About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Rebel Custom Homes Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of our custom homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Construction
    • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and develop detailed construction plans.
    • Collaborate with our design team to ensure that all construction plans meet our high standards.
  • Construction
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of our construction team to ensure timely completion of projects.
    • Inspect and test all construction work to ensure it meets our quality standards.
    • Identify and report any defects or issues to our quality control team.
  • Post-Construction
    • Conduct final inspections to ensure that all construction work meets our quality standards.
    • Collaborate with our customer service team to ensure that all customers are satisfied with their new homes.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Work Setting
    • Construction.

  • Tasks
    • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
    • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
    • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
    • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites.
    • Supervise other workers.
    • Estimate costs and materials.
    • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
    Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
