Job Summary:

The Drillers Assistant/Anchor Grouter will work in the field as part of a team, assisting with day-to-day operations and contributing to the success of our foundation drilling teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing safety and maintenance checks on equipment
  • Setting up and operating drilling equipment, hoses, pumps, and other machinery
  • Handling drill rods and casing, and maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Performing equipment maintenance or repairs, and assisting the driller with various tasks
  • Heavy lifting is involved, and a valid Class 5 driver's license is required
  • Attention to detail and safety are essential, and the ability to work in a variety of environments is necessary
  • Good communication and teamwork skills are required, and the ability to take instructions well is essential
  • Able to show up to work every day and on time, and a forklift/elevated work platform ticket is considered an asset

Anchor Grouting Responsibilities:

  • Heavy lifting of grout bags is involved, and installation of threaded bar anchors is a key responsibility
  • Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license, and be responsible, reliable, and conscientious
  • Takes initiative, and is eager to learn and contribute to the team's success
  • Able to work overtime when required, and a forklift/elevated work platform ticket is considered an asset

Working Conditions:

The Drillers Assistant/Anchor Grouter will work primarily in the field, with some shop-related work. Field work will require the use of minimum PPE, and other PPE may be necessary depending on the work site environment.
