Landscape Maintenance Professional Wanted

Calgary, Alberta, Canada RAINMAKERS LANDSCAPING Full time

Rainmakers Landscaping is seeking a skilled and experienced General Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, weeding, pruning and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, removing litter and garbage, and performing other manual labour tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed and planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
  • Tie and secure plants to prevent damage
  • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn maintenance tasks
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage from the work site
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling
