About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Landscape Labourer to join our team at JVR Landscape. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our clients' outdoor spaces, ensuring they look their best at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers and repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and effective landscape maintenance.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Work Environment and Conditions

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work outdoors in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties. You will be required to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
