As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office buildings. Your duties will include making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as contacting tradespersons for major repairs. You will also be responsible for supervising other workers, moving heavy furniture and equipment, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair. Additionally, you will be responsible for watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact tradespersons for major repairs
  • Supervise other workers
  • Move heavy furniture and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Urban area work setting
  • Office building work setting
  • Commercial building work setting
