We are seeking a highly skilled Counselling Psychologist to join our team at New Tide Counselling & Consulting Ltd. As a Counselling Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to clients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to evaluate treatment plans, and implementing effective interventions to promote positive change.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and patient outcomes
- Consult with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide therapy services to individuals and groups, promoting personal, social, and vocational development
- Assess client needs and develop tailored interventions to address their goals and challenges
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to professional standards
- Master's degree in Counselling Psychology or related field
- Accreditation or registration with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association
- Experience working with diverse client populations and presenting issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and creatively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards
