About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Counselling Psychologist to join our team at New Tide Counselling & Consulting Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with healthcare professionals to evaluate treatment plans and assess patient outcomes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Examine patient behaviour and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Interview clients, prepare case histories, and assess problems.
  • Record observations and review reports from healthcare professionals.
  • Use standard psychological tests for assessment and develop treatment plans.
  • Write progress reports and provide therapy to individuals and groups.
  • Implement treatment plans and perform administrative tasks.
  • Apply psychological theory and principles to develop and implement counselling and intervention programs.
Requirements
  • Accreditation or registration with the appropriate national, provincial, or territorial professional association.
  • Certification with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
  • Experience in eclectic therapy and psychotherapy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
