Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Demand Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and manage demand forecasts for over 2500+ SKUs, considering historical sales, promotional plans, seasonality, and new product launches.
- Forecast Model Updates: Regularly update forecasting models to reflect the latest trends and market shifts.
- Forecasting and Planning KPIs: Monitor and improve forecasting and key planning KPIs, ensuring continuous alignment with business goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing demand planning team.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment while holding team members accountable for achieving KPIs.
- S&OP Process: Take ownership of demand planning in the S&OP process, leading discussions with key stakeholders to align demand plans with broader company initiatives and ensure product availability.
- Process Improvement: Lead projects to enhance internal demand planning processes, tools, and systems, contributing to broader supply chain effectiveness and higher team performance.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: 3+ years of strong leadership and team-building skills with experience in leading and developing high-performance teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to synthesize data and identify actionable trends.
- Forecasting Techniques: Proficiency in statistical forecasting techniques and data analysis tools, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Category Management, Marketing, Sales, and Finance, to drive forecast alignment and business outcomes.
- Demand Planning Software: Demonstrated experience with demand planning software and ERP systems.
- Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills grounded in data and analysis, with confidence in presenting findings to leadership teams.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strategic Thinking: A strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term planning with short-term adjustments to meet market and business needs.
- S&OP and OTB: Familiarity with S&OP and Open-to-Buy (OTB) processes.
- Demand Planning Tools: Hands-on experience with demand planning software, ERP systems, and other forecasting tools.
- Merchandising Planning: A strong background in merchandising planning.
- Eligibility: Legally able to work in Canada. Completion of criminal background check.

- Wealth: The expected salary is $110,000 to $142,000. The actual base pay can increase beyond this range and will be based on various factors, including transferable skills, training and certifications, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
