Production Planner/Kit Process Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner/Kit Process Coordinator to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the kitting process at a business unit or cluster level, ensuring timely delivery of engine kits to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the master kitting schedule, balancing work-in-process, resources, and capacity in conjunction with Cell Leaders.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, purchasing, sales, and customer service to control and adjust the kitting schedule as needed.
- Monitor pacing items and expedite directly with vendors or cell leaders for all kit components, including exchanges, subcontracts, backorders, internal repairs, and accessories.
- Establish methods to meet kitting schedules and coordinate activities with other departments and/or sub-contractors to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate the daily activities of kitting staff, providing instruction, information, and prioritizing kitting work schedules.
- Ensure proper placement of routed and purchased components onto engine kit trays.
- Generate kitting measures of performance and recommend operational improvements.
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, oral, and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of production management computer systems.
- Thorough knowledge of PC's in the current company operating system environment.
- Completion of APICS program or equivalent, and eligible to become certified under CPIM.
- Several years of experience in production planning and control.
- Thorough knowledge of records management and documentation control.
