Production Coordinator

As a Production Coordinator at Standard Aero, you will play a critical role in directing and coordinating the kitting process at a business unit or cluster level. This includes planning, control, and scheduling of Engine/Module Kit and components to meet Kitting Plan requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the master kitting schedule, balancing work-in-process, resources, and capacity in conjunction with Cell Leaders.
- Act as a liaison between production, engineering, purchasing, sales, and customer service to control and adjust the kitting schedule as needed.
- Monitor pacing items and expedite directly with vendors or cell leaders for all kit components.
- Establish methods to meet kitting schedules and coordinate activities with other departments and/or sub-contractors to meet customer requirements.
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, oral, and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of production management computer systems and PC's in the current company operating system environment.
- Completion of APICS program or equivalent and eligible to become certified under CPIM.
- Several years of experience in production planning and control.
The typical minimum level of education to perform this job competently is equivalent to high school graduation and completion of a diploma training program at a college or technical school. The person requires an ability to understand, utilize, and communicate specialized information in speech and written text.
