Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W West. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Staff Management: Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and making recommendations for promotions or disciplinary action.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor at A&W West, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations. You will be required to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
