About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Truck Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Bamrah Truck Repair Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Management: Assist in the organization and maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and easily accessible.
  • Site Safety: Participate in safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel and the general public.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers, advising them on work performed, and discussing future repair requirements.
  • Technical Support: Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring machines and immediate work areas are clean and free of debris.
  • Quality Control: Assist in testing and adjusting units to specifications, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Parts and Components: Assist in the adjustment, repair, or replacement of parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
  • Communication: Discuss work with supervisors and other team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
