Job Summary

Bamrah Truck Repair Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics with daily tasks, including moving equipment and tools, and holding stakes during surveying activities.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Clean machines and work areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Test and adjust units to specifications, ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Assist with adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Discuss work with supervisors, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
