About the Role:
We are seeking a Medical Imaging Aide/Clerk to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Job Summary:
This role involves performing client registration and check-in processes, ensuring accurate and timely data entry. The successful candidate will also be responsible for scheduling appointments, relaying pre-test preparation information to clients, and rescheduling or booking client appointments as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform client registration and check-in procedures
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records
- Communicate with clients regarding test preparation and scheduling changes
- Provide general administrative support to the medical imaging department
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Grade 12 plus two years of recent related experience
- Ability to keyboard at 40 wpm
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
Salary Information:
The estimated salary range for this position is $27.10 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental coverage, municipal pension plan, and opportunities for professional development.
