Medical Imaging Clerical Professional

We are seeking a Medical Imaging Aide/Clerk to join our team at Richmond Hospital in Richmond, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Perform client registration and check in, place appointment reminder calls to clients, relay pre-test preparation information to clients, and may reschedule and/or book client appointments as required.
- Assist Technologists with positioning and lifting clients as directed and/or escorting patients to and from exam room.
- Monitor and replenish department inventories and ensure core supply levels are maintained, perform cleaning and tidying functions of the area, perform clerical functions, and act as receptionist to support the delivery of client care to ensure client/family needs are met above all other concerns.
- Grade 12 plus two (2) year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Ability to keyboard at 40 wpm.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
