Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient transportation services.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on transportation operations and performance.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role in transportation or logistics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a fast-paced transportation environment.
