Job Title: Clinical Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at IWK Health. As a key member of the Gastroenterology Care Team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional management to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition care plans for patients with complex nutritional needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare staff on normal and therapeutic nutrition.
  • Participate in case conferences and team rounds to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition or dietetics.
  • Successful completion of a Dietitians of Canada accredited dietetic internship program.
  • Current license to practice with the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association.
  • Previous experience in inpatient and ambulatory healthcare settings.
  • Experience in pediatrics, nutrition support, and nutritional counseling.
