About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their homes, enabling them to live safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily tasks and self-care activities, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Prepare meals and assist with mealtime, ensuring clients receive the nutrition they need.
  • Perform basic housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Support clients with personal hygiene care, including showering and bathing.
  • Assist with basic activities of daily living, such as dressing and grooming.

Requirements:

  • Compassion and listening skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Passion for making a difference in your community, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, with a willingness to travel to client residences.
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Background check, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional boundaries.
