Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at The Métis Nation of Ontario. As a Support Worker, you will provide support and assistance to clients in their homes, as well as in our social assistance office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and assistance to clients in their homes, including daily living tasks and errands.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, to meet the needs of clients.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
