Senior Project Manager (Bridges)

COWI is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager (Bridges) to lead our team of experts in delivering high-quality bridge design projects. As a key member of our Edmonton office, you will be responsible for managing bridge design projects, collaborating with clients, and driving business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bridge design projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive project success.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including proposal writing and presentation.
  • Lead and mentor teams of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project deliverables.
  • Perform forecasting, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting for assigned projects.
  • Prepare construction drawings, engineering reports, and other documents as required.
  • Oversee construction administration activities, including site inspections and other tasks as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance, skills, and career growth.

Your Skills. Our Success.

We are looking for a collaborative and results-driven individual with a strong background in bridge design and project management. You will have a Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, a Professional Engineer License (P.Eng.) in Alberta, and a minimum of 10 years of related experience. Your expertise in leading bridge projects with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors, the City of Edmonton, and the City of Calgary will be valuable assets to our team.
