Transportation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team at CH Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods and ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management
- Manage the transportation budget and ensure that all expenses are within approved limits.
- Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
- Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate the transportation of goods, including arranging for shipping documentation and tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
- Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
- Negotiation and Communication
- Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure preferential rates and services.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and operations teams.
- Operational Management
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that they are running efficiently and effectively.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a transportation or logistics role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles and practices. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly.
