As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care to ICU patients, utilizing evidence-based practice and continuous improvement to optimize patient outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and comprehensive care
• Participate in hospital committees and research projects, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and patient care
• Maintain and advance clinical competence, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in critical care nursing
This is a casual opportunity, with hours not guaranteed and shifts varying in length and timing. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.
Shifts will be scheduled days and nights, rotating between 07:00 and 19:00, and 19:00 and 07:00 hours. The hourly wage for this position will be $41.42 to $55.91, effective April 1, 2024.
About this Location/Unit:
Our department consists of 3-beds, with responsibility for cardiac monitoring for up to 3 telemetry patients. We have a dedicated team, including a Patient Care Coordinator and Shift Coordinators, to support our nurses in providing exceptional care.
