Key Responsibilities
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Graduate of a recognized Perinatal Nursing specialty program
  • Current CPR Basic Rescuer certification
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certificate
  • Fetal Health Surveillance Course Certificate
  • Breastfeeding Course Certificate
  • Two (2) years recent related experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to apply the nursing process effectively in a well-organized manner to the care of assigned patients
  • Demonstrate sound organizational, problem-solving, and teaching skills
