Job Summary

Gerdau North America is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth within a specific territory, exceeding sales targets and achieving forecast accuracy.
  • Order Management: Manage customer orders from quoting to shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market analysis and research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including Sales Manager, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Fulfillment, and Marketing, to ensure seamless communication and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the steel industry or related field.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the steel industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive sales growth and resolve customer issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 or 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience in the steel industry or related field, including metals manufacturing, commodities, and general manufacturing.
Work Environment

This role requires 50% travel within the assigned territory, with occasional overnight stays. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
