About the Role

As a Strategic Investment Consultant at Fidelity Investments, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis and support to clients in all aspects of investment product analysis, sales, and marketing. You will possess in-depth knowledge and expertise of assigned Fidelity products and maintain a solid understanding of the competitive landscape.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with investment managers and analysts to position and support investment mandates with the sales and relationship management teams.
  • Complete detailed quarterly portfolio reports for institutional clients, showcasing your strong analytical skills.
  • Support portfolio managers with client interactions and provide support to the retail and institutional sales team.
  • Contribute to the product development process for new products within your asset class coverage, ensuring clarity and accuracy of all product-related collateral.

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical, writing, oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of VBA an asset but not required.
  • Comfortable working with project-based goals and tight timelines.

What We're Looking For

  • Completion of a 4-year post-secondary degree, ideally with a business focus (Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting), or equivalent work experience.
  • Enrollment in or completion of a CFA designation or MBA will be advantageous.
  • Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation considered an asset.
  • 3-5 years of investment market expertise.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and professional development.
