Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team at Keller Executive Search. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing innovative automation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and our R&D technical team to develop cutting-edge robotic systems for automated conveyor systems.
  • Research and Development: Assume an active role in R&D, involving computer-aided design work and hands-on experimentation to test and evaluate robot behavior.
  • Technical Project Management: Take charge of end-to-end automation tasks, including PLC programming, IT systems management, and supervision of electrical panel design.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Participate in project brainstorming sessions, contributing to idea generation and problem-solving.
  • Mechanical Design: Collaborate with mechanical engineers to contribute to the development and design of mechanical components.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or robotics engineering.
  • 2 to 7 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Innovative and creative, with a passion for automation and robotics.
  • Good knowledge of PLC/HMI systems and programming languages.
  • Good electrical knowledge, including control and power systems.
  • Bilingual, English and French, to communicate with internal and external suppliers and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in an R&D environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems.
