About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team at KROLOG INC. as a Software Designer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and document user requirements to ensure software solutions meet business needs.
  • Coordinate the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems to optimize business processes.
  • Develop process and network models to improve system architecture and efficiency.
  • Design and develop software solutions by analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Evaluate the performance and reliability of system designs to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Evaluate user feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Develop and implement plans to maintain software systems and ensure they remain up-to-date.
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure software systems meet business standards.
  • Document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.
Requirements
  • Cloud computing experience.
  • Proficiency in Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio, and other software development tools.
  • Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and software development methodologies.
  • Experience with networking software, internet, file management software, multimedia software, website creation and management software, and database software.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a standard 32-40 hour workweek.
