We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team at Guidewire Software, a leading provider of software for the insurance industry. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based software applications using 12-factor app methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-based software applications using Java, Golang, NodeJS, Python, and other frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code, ensuring scalability, availability, and security
- Work with automated testing tools to ensure software quality and reliability
- Deploy containerized applications to AWS using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Math, or equivalent level of professional proficiency
- Proficiency in one or more of the following frameworks and languages: Java, Golang, NodeJS, Python
- Experience with Docker, Linux debugging, and infrastructure as code
- Comfort working in an agile, social, and fast-paced environment
