Join Guidewire Software as a Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team at Guidewire Software, a leading provider of software for the insurance industry. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based software applications using 12-factor app methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud-based software applications using Java, Golang, NodeJS, Python, and other frameworks and languages.
  • Work with our team to write code, mentor one another, and build infrastructure and software that matters.
  • Deploy containerized applications to AWS through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
  • Collaborate with highly skilled team members, operations team, product managers, and architects to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Math, or equivalent level of proven professional proficiency.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Comfort working in an agile, social, and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in an office-based position with flexibility to work from home as applicable.
