At Meteor Telecommunications Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

About the Role

The Senior Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing telecommunications equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications technology and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Testing: Install new telecommunications equipment and infrastructure, including fiber optic cables, antenna systems, and switching systems.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair faults in telecommunications equipment and infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
  • Climbing and Work at Heights: Climb poles, ladders, and other structures to access and maintain telecommunications equipment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate;
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in telecommunications installation, maintenance, or repair;
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to work at heights;
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
  • A valid driver's license (if required by location); and
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
