About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut and trim carcasses, sides, and quarters
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers

  • Remove bones from meat
  • Weigh and price meat products
  • Sell meats to customers
  • Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers

  • Slice cooked meats
  • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
  • Prepare special orders
Work Environment

As a Butcher - Wholesale, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a team environment
