Job Title: Wholesale Butcher

Cioffi's Meat Market and Deli Ltd. is seeking a skilled Wholesale Butcher to join our team. As a Wholesale Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat products for wholesale customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
  • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Weigh meats for sale
  • Price meat products
  • Sell meats to customers
  • Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers
  • Grind meats
  • Train meat cutters
  • Slice cooked meats
  • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
  • Prepare special orders
Work Environment:

As a Wholesale Butcher, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Or equivalent experience
