Job Description


Pomerleau, a national leader in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Bid Proposal Lead, you will play a key role in developing highly competitive bids for large-scale construction projects.


About the Role


You will be responsible for leading estimating and proposal teams in developing winning bid strategies. This includes participating in the development of project schedules, budgets, and technical documents. You will also work closely with management, external consultants, and joint-venture partners to develop a winning proposal strategy.


Key Responsibilities



  • Participate in the development of project schedules and budgets
  • Lead estimating and proposal teams in developing winning bid strategies
  • Work closely with management, external consultants, and joint-venture partners to develop a winning proposal strategy
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical documents and bid submissions
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Provide input on project estimates and pricing
  • Manage and coordinate proposal submissions
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as required
  • Participate in business development activities, including identifying new business opportunities

Requirements


We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager with:



  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role
  • A proven track record working on P3, design build, O&M, and other alternative contract delivery projects
  • A university degree or diploma in architecture, engineering, or a related field
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • PMP certification is considered an asset
  • Excellent management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and leadership
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and taking action
  • Knowledge of the National Capital Region market is an asset

What We Offer


Pomerleau offers a competitive salary of $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and a comprehensive pension plan. We also offer opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
