Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the cleaning operations at one of our sites in the Lower Mainland. As the face of Alpine, you will be the primary point of contact for clients regarding operations, escalations, and work orders. Your focus will be on ensuring that Alpine meets its contractual obligations while adhering to service and budget parameters.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will participate in hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and performance management of employees.
  • You will provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to team members.
  • You will foster a high level of employee engagement and retention through effective leadership practices.
  • You will utilize technology, such as Dayforce, to manage team members.
  • You will liaise with clients to ensure performance standards are met and complaints are addressed.
  • You will ensure scheduled hours and actual hours are aligned with budget expectations.
  • You will oversee or coordinate equipment repairs.
  • You will ensure subcontractor hours are in line with budget requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • You must have at least 5 years of experience in the Building Maintenance Service industry.
  • You possess excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders.
  • You have experience developing and fostering positive team environments.
  • You can effectively communicate and engage in tough conversations.
  • You are flexible with your hours, as occasional overtime may be required.
  • You are able to successfully pass a reliability clearance and criminal record check.
