Athletic Club Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Athletic Club Operations Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure the smooth operation of our athletic club facilities.
  • Client Support: Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Emergency Response: Be the point of contact for emergency situations, responding promptly and effectively to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients and staff.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations and efficient use of resources.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit progress and other reports, providing timely and accurate information to support decision-making.
  • Supply Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and effective use of resources.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of workers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance.
  • Training and Development: Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective team management.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
