At Ontario Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Club Operations Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our athletic club, including the maintenance and repair of equipment, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and facilities
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
  • Be the point of contact for emergency situations, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, minimizing downtime and disruptions
  • Monitor quality and production levels, identifying areas for improvement
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, highlighting achievements and challenges
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Supervise the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient use
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule the activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring effective use of resources

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of communication
  • 40 hours per week
