Athletic Club Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Athletic Club Operations Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our athletic club.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Client Support: Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their experience is positive and memorable.
  • Emergency Response: Be the point of contact when emergency situations arise, responding promptly and effectively to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operation of the club.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit progress and other reports to management, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Supply Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal club operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Training: Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the club.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 40 hours per week.
