We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at ONTARIO HALAL MEAT FARMS INC. This role is responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring that all inventory is accurately tracked, stored, and distributed to meet the needs of our customers and production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking, ensuring that inventory levels meet production and customer demand.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, warehouse staff, and production teams to ensure timely receipt and distribution of inventory, resolving any issues that may impact inventory levels or quality.
  • Inventory Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, generating reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to warehouse staff on inventory management procedures, ensuring that all personnel understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Operational Oversight: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Wholesalers work environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Criminal record check and credit check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and proactive
  • 35 hours per week, permanent work term, and English language
