Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Construction Site Coordinator to join our team. This individual will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that all aspects of the project run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and possess strong organizational abilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical and administrative project specifications
  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with project standards
  • Report project developments to the Project Manager and discuss planned methods with site management
  • Order critical materials from suppliers in collaboration with the Superintendent
  • Track quantities and costs for productivity analysis and accurate job forecasting
  • Prepare daily reports on crew progress and issues
  • Provide document control for correspondence, submittals, RFI's, NCR's, etc.
  • Assist in preparing final project records, including as-builts
  • Organize and participate in various meetings
  • Maintain effective communication between suppliers, subcontractors, professionals, and clients
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or similar field, or a combination of technical training and/or related experience
  • 2-5 years of industry experience
  • Experience in contracting industry (heavy civil preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical design drawings
  • Experience with scheduling and planning site activities
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Experience with cost analysis, control, and reporting
  • Commercial knowledge and experience with contracts is considered an asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset, but proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills is required
Compensation and Benefits
  • $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
